The Ocakbaşı
Twelve seats facing the open charcoal grill, served cut by cut as it comes off the coals.
DiscoverSoft lighting, generous tables

The dining room is made for long evenings. Curved banquettes in red velvet sit back against banks of greenery, round walnut tables are inlaid with patterned tile, and the light stays low and warm from the first table to the last. It is the room most guests picture when they think of Pera Palace.
The full menu is served here: cold and warm mezze to share, the grill table carved as it arrives, pide and lahmacun from the stone oven, and desserts that deserve their own hour. Tables are spaced for conversation rather than turnover, and nobody will hurry you towards the bill.
Booths take four to six, round tables up to eight, and the room can be arranged for larger parties. Fasıl musicians play on Thursday and Sunday evenings.

Good to know
Children are welcome at every hour. High chairs and a shorter menu for younger guests are available on request.
Groups of up to twelve can be seated together in the dining room. For more, see the private rooms or write to events@perapalace.ae.
Smart casual. Evenings in the dining room tend to be dressed up, but there is no formal code.
